Step into the glamour, mystery, and danger of the Roaring Twenties at Murder in the Garden, an immersive 1920s-themed murder mystery event filled with jazz, scandal, and suspense. The evening begins with celebration and champagne, but the mood quickly darkens when two shocking murders rock the party — a notorious gangster is found dead, and moments later, a glamorous flapper collapses under mysterious circumstances. As secrets unravel and tensions rise, guests must gather clues, question suspects, and uncover who is responsible before the killer escapes into the night.
The evening features live jazz music by Jazzberry Duo, with Ellen Hutto on vocals, saxophone, flute, and percussion, and Michael Yaussi on guitar and vocals, bringing the spirit and sound of the Jazz Age to life. Guests will enjoy delicious food, wine, beer, and an unforgettable atmosphere filled with vintage style, intrigue, and 1920s glamour. Costumes are encouraged, so arrive dressed as your favorite flapper, gangster, detective, socialite, or speakeasy regular.
Guests may choose their own experience for the evening: become an active participant in the murder mystery with a character role to play, or attend as a spectator and enjoy the unfolding drama from the sidelines. Dinner will be available for purchase on-site for those who wish to enhance their evening prepared by AP Catering and Destinations.
